Week # 6

I was asked to teach a wool project at little retreat next month and so I have been playing with some wool scraps, fabric scraps, scrapbooking paper scraps and fun little bits and pieces.
I so love to create!

This is Molly's Quilt. I finally got it finished. A friend of mine did the machine quilting. I used a jelly roll that I had purchased a couple of years ago. It was so much fun to make. The dresden plates are machine pieced and hand appliqued. It is bigger than a crib size - so I guess it will be for the crib and beyond! Hope she knows how much love went into it and how sweet it was to think about her and who she will be while I worked on it.

Leisa. Another beautiful quilt. How many does that make? And, do you sleep?

I asked myself the same question as Lisa, do you sleep? The quilt is beautiful! Molly is adorable as well. So fun to see pictures of your family.
lisa has posed an interesting question... how many quilts have you made?!

the quilt is great! i love the colors you used for the wool project- the bird is a great touch.

that is a good question...I would guess close to 20 bed size or fairly large wall hanging/lap quilt size. If you counted table runners and smaller ones - mayve 20 more at least?? I want to have a book with photos of them all one day....I have given a lot of them away.
